The historic Kilmorey Lodge... a one of a kind gem set on the shores of Emerald Bay in Waterton Lakes National Park. This charming inn of Alberta was one of the original buildings in the townsite and had been receiving guests since the 1920s. A beautiful log style building reminicscent of a country inn, furnished with antiques and treasures from times gone by. There were 23 unique and romantic guest rooms in the Kilmorey Lodge, all of them quaint and comfortable.
The Lodge was also home to one of Southern Alberta's best restaurants, the Lamp Post Dining Room.
Unfortunately in January of 2009 the Kilmorey Lodge succumbed to a fire and was destroyed. There are plans to rebuild and information can be found at thekilmoreylodge.com
